The tram stop is _Etherbeek Station_) - Bear in mind that the people attending the event will not necessarily be comfortable with having their photo taken or appearing on a video. Do not take photos/videos in which other people (or details of other participants) other than yourself appear. ## Fees ### Bar & Drinks - 100’Pap beers goes for 3€. The 100PAP project fights against the material and temporal precariousness of housing for groups of undocumented migrants. - Everything else is free/fair pricing. **All proceedings after expenses go to [Voix des Sans Papiers](https://www.lavoixdessspap.domainepublic.net/) (VSP)** ## Line Up _TBD_ ### Timeslot - Indieterminacy (aka Jonny and the Bomb): ??H to ??H - Another one? I shall think about an alternative venue. From my perspective the location of OFFDEM is nice and informal and with interesting people present. This may be advantageous for me. Id be content to have the rig setup early in the day, so that people can casually peruse and play as part of the breakout room (volume permitting). I trust there would be a secure lockup room (either for caching until after the weekend or to permit people to play music during the Sunday)? From my perspective if you get perspective regarding how well performers align with the conference attendees that may have clues regarding how something should be improved in future years SHOULD you ever want to proactively host a larger number of attendees. From a decade of doing DJing during Fosdem, I see it as an organic growth, whereby people feel comfortable to re-attend and encourage others to come with them. Im sure this is the case for the main activities that OFFDEM provides, the calibre of attendees last year was certainly high. ---

Hey, good news : Naast Moniek is up for hosting our saturday night’s party if it’s good for us all. The disadvantage of it is its distance from VSP (half an hour by tram+walking). The advantage is that there’s room, a bar, nice people and maybe a sound system already. Last year I was ttly exhausted on sunday because I danced all night long at the bytenight. I’m not sure yet wether or not I’ll do the same this year. I’d feel ttly fine with having a very calm saturday night as well ! ---

The wiki content Im content for copying across. I fully understand that it is not an all night occasion (though naturally, I would prefer to play for longer than 90 mins). In any case Ill try to avoid bringing an entire fleet of material. I suppose I should get some clarification regarding tone or genre of music. Unless I can just do whatever I want (hehehe…). Will I or others be playing during dinner time? (that would impact tone for example) ---

I was wondering. My fallback is to just bring my living room amplifier. This can hold x4 speakers - x2 of which are small and silly, but the other x2 are fine. I also have one dedicated on for the booth. Given the location that may be fine. If you bring something to replace the smaller ones that would help. I suppose this is fine. Ive decided to do the early stuff appropriate for people to talk over. I seem to be seeking enough ambient music, I may even bring folk records it thats ok. Could somebody secure x1 record player needle and cartridge? I guess somebody on the Friday night would have one? I have to reoorder something and there may be problems with p&p. Also, I could bring a box of childrens LPs if we could be bothered to install it in the kids room in the day. Anybody keen on helping me bring the equipment with a car or van? I feel Im a little unsatisfied with a talk Im preparing for and would prefer to have one less task to distract me. ---

yes indeed I think is good if you bring your material, and I also have been offered a couple of autoamplified speakers that are at Caldarium we will bring them on saturday. ---

Ive got the equipment ready and somebody is collecting me around 8:30-9:00. I guess It will be before 9:30 that Im unloading equipment. Given my helper is driving off to Namur in a hurry I guess I shall have to unload quickly. I suppose people will be occupied initiating the event but if there are some hands to bring things up for 5 mins that would be convenient. I could do with some help bringing this stuff back after the event if its more feasible. ---
