Should we disable Badges/gamification here?

Hi everyone,

I’m personnally annoyed by the gamification mechanism of Discourse and it can be deactivated. What’s your opinion on that: should we disable badges here?

Did you try to check the box in your /u/$you/preferences/interface that says “Skip new user onboarding tips and badges”?
