This now a long lasting collaboration and, each year, we are understanding better the different issues and trying to bring digital tooling when we can.
Wednesday @how and I have met with Alberto, Taslim, Modou, and friends from the organizational team from VSP. They are super happy to host us.
If we manage to organize we might be able to schedule a presentation, about the structure they have built to support each-other in administrative tasks, it is called: Y’en a Marre (“we’re fed up!”), and they meet regularly to organize and follow each other’s administrative dossiers.
On Saturday morning 11:00, OFFDEM session, we could include in the program a “VSP & Y’en a Marre (“we’re fed up!”)” moment of 1 hour or more during which they tell their story (which you mention here) and their problems and needs. The participants take notes on a pad collaboratively - then in post-prod process we turn it into a publication (after OFFDEM / and I’m ok and warm to take responsibility for it)
I think its good, and the format proposed is good. Just as a reminder we pretty much know their needs and should not have them repeat them over again, they mostly need to organize on other medium than F̶̥̈ȧ̶͜k̸̤̋ê̶̦b̸̠̎ơ̴̠ọ̸̍z̷̝̎ because they want to be able to keep archives of their mobilization and fights and not loose memory in the corporate loophole.
The issue is not technical, obviously we can provide any necessary tools, the problem is that they are struggling to find time to dedicate to this project and need more human time with them to do that. So we need a Brussels based person to do this with them.
